These two Beech trees were protected by T.P.O (tree preservation order). We advised on the best type of pruning to achieve a desired affect for our client and leased with DMBC on behalf of the customer. The type of pruning was to raise and thin the crown of one tree allowing more light to filter through and selectively reduce the other to contain its spread. Once permission was granted we arranged a convenient date to carry out the works. This particular site was on the junction of Grange Road and Bessacarr Road, so careful planning and a polite notice to avoid anyone parking under the tree was required.
